Baxter began operating in 1931 as the first commercial manufacturer of prepared IV solutions. Hand in hand, Dr. Don Baxter and  Dr. Ralph Falk took the companny further through the years, making inventions of their own, like the PLASMA-VAC, and selling other common medical instruments like digital vacuum ovens. In 2018, Baxter released the Kaguya APD system in Japan, providing thousands of dialysis patients with the option to be treated from the comfort of their homes.
