Beckman Coulter
Formerly known as National Technical Laboratories, Beckman was established in 1935 by professor Arnold O. Beckman to introduce a pH meter he invented to the market. Beckman then acquired many companies throughout the years, notably Coulter Corporation (Becoming Beckman-Coulter in the process), Lumigen and Sanofi Pasteur Diagnostics, to name a few, and kept on pushing new products like centrifuge rotors to the market. In 2011, Beckman finalized a complete merger with Danaher.
