Labconco began operating back in 1925 straight out of Philip Goldfisch's garage where he and Ralph Callaway, a salesman, kickstarted a business out of building acid-fume-filtering machines, a process known as Kjeldhal nitrogen determination. From garage contraptions in 1925, to dry evaporation systems and vaccum concentrators today, Labconco has gone a long way from its modest origin.
