Microwave Digesters & Synthesizers

Equipment to accomplish two very different things using microwaves! Break it down or build it up?

Microwave digesters are primarily used to dissolve heavy metals to prepare them for elemental analysis by inductively coupled plasma, atomic absorption, or atomic emission spectroscopy. Microwave synthesizers, sometimes referred to as microwave reactors, reduce reaction time through any of a number of effects caused by the application of microwave radiation.
