VWR was founded in the 1920s by George Van Waters and Nat Rogers. With more than 1,200,000 different items for sale to upwards of 250,000 customers in both North America and Europe, VWR's catalogue includes, but isn't limited to circulators, chillers, block heaters, ovens and furnaces, etc. VWR was acquired by Avantor in November 2017.
